Questa fotocamera è il punto d'arrivo della ricerca effettuata con i prototipi della serie PRO ST, in particolare l'ultimo modello P. Il corpo della fotocamera è stato realizzato partendo da un unico pezzo di legno di noce nazionale, tagliato e lavorato da abili mani artigiane e con un mio
intervento diretto in passaggi tecnicamente più delicati.
La STW (shift wide angle walnut wood camera) è una fotocamera grandangolare decentrabile per uno specializzato utilizzo architettonico e di paesaggio. Utilizza tutti gli accessori della Mamiya
Universal in quanto l'attacco posteriore è il P Adapter. Quindi i formati di ripresa disponibili sono quelli dei magazzini portapellicola Press/Universal:
6x4,5 - 6x6 - 6x7 - 6x9 - 6x11 (Clabo Pan Back) - Polaroid 8x10 cm (serie 600).
Il decentramento avviene per 18 mm sia verso l'alto sia verso il basso. L'obiettivo utilizzato è lo Schneider Super Angulon XL 1:5,6/47 mm, poiché mi interessa avere un marcato effetto
grandangolare. La messa a fuoco è fissata sull'iperfocale.

This camera is the point of arrival of the research effected with PRO ST prototypes and
particularly the last P model. The camera body has realized from a piece of italian walnut-wood, cut and worked from skilled artisan hands and with a direct intervention of mine in technically more delicate passages .
The STW is a wideangle shift camera for a specialized architectural-landscape uses and it could be climbed on all the Mamiya Universal accessories, thanks to the P adapter.
Therefore the film formats are the same of the Press/Universal holders:
6x4,5 - 6x6 - 6x7 - 6x9 - 6x11 (Clabo Pan Back) - Polaroid 8x10 cm (600 series).
The lens currently mounted is the Schneider Super Angulon XL 1:5,6/ 47 mm, since it interest me to reach a wideangle effect and allows the total coverage with strong shift movement too.
The lens is reguled on the hyperfocal distance.
Shift movement is equal to 18 mm upward and 18 mm downward.
