IL DORSO
Questo dorso consente di ottenere fotografie nel formato
panorama 6x11cm (effettivo 56x102mm). Ciò che ha portato a modificare questo dorso Mamiya è un discorso prevalentemente economico. Considerando che si può disporre di una qualsiasi fotocamera Mamiya Press/Universal a costi relativamente contenuti, oppure autocostruirsene una adatta allo scopo, è evidente che l'acquisto di una panoramica professionale di marca è limitato ai professionisti che esigono altre performances dalle fotocamere.
Noi fotoamatori possiamo anche accontentarci...
Il dorso è stato tagliato da un tornitore e in alcune parti da me stesso. La resa è ottima anche ai bordi. Si avanza il film guardando i numeri stampati sulla carta di protezione per il formato 6x6 e avanzando due fotogrammi per volta.
All'inizio ho modificato l'attacco della mia fotocamera Mamiya 23 Standard, ma poi ho constatato che il dorso funziona
perfettamente anche con la Universal senza modificarne
affatto l'attacco.
LE MODIFICHE
Come potete osservare i tagli sono perfetti, senza alcuna sbavatura. Modificando l'attacco della Standard non ho rilevato problemi, mentre montando il dorso sulla Universal (attacco M) ho avuto un'infiltrazione di luce sul lato destro.
Ho rimediato semplicemente facendo una guarnizione con della gommapiuma adesiva e limitando il distacco dell'adattatore M dal magazzino.
E' quindi consigliabile lasciare sempre il magazzino attaccato all'adattatore M e procurarsene uno di ricambio per gli altri magazzini 6x9/6x7.

The BACK

The back has stayed cut from a turner and in two parts from myself. The result is excellent also to the edges. You advance the film looking at the printed numbers on the film protection paper for the 6x6 format and advancing two frames for time.
I have modified the back socket of my Mamiya 23 Standard, but I then have ascertained that the back works perfectly also with the Universal without modify at all the socket.
The MODIFICATIONS
Like you could observe the cuts are perfect, without any dribble. Modifying the attack of the Standard
I have not taken away again problems, while climbing on the back on the Universal (M attack) has had an infiltration of light on the right side.
I have made up simply doing a gasket with self adesive foam rubber and limiting the separation of the M adapter from the back.
It is therefore advisable leave the back always attached to the M adapter and get another one for the 6x9/ 6x7 backs .
